Nisyros is a one-of-a-kind hand-sculpted kiln-fired glass pendant made from deep blue and clear effervescent glass. Created using the lost wax casting process, the pendant’s glass setting is uniquely designed to house the hand carved tourmaline and garnet. The piece is sculpted with 18k gold and completed with a blue leather chord.
∆ Nisyros is a volcanic Greek Island in the Aegean Sea. The population today approaches about 1,000 inhabitants. The relatively barren and arid land forced many people to migrate. It is from this Island that the piece is named.
