LARA SAGET
Lara Saget (b. 1989) is an American sculptor and artist whose practice explores spirituality through a scientific lens while imagining new possibilities of natural material design. Over the past decade, her sculptural work includes bronze, glass, and marble pieces, investigating opposing elements and revealing synergies through material exploration. Her sculptures and installations have been exhibited with Trotter&Sholer Gallery (New York, NY), Halsey McKay Gallery (East Hampton, NY), Bellevue Arts Museum (Bellevue, WA), and Houston Center for Contemporary Craft (Houston, TX).

Extending her sculptural language into the intimate scale of the body, Lara also creates bespoke wearable works that merge art, fashion, and alchemy. Produced in small, carefully crafted batches in her Brooklyn studio, these pieces translate her work into limited bespoke collections. Handmade glass settings are uniquely designed for each stone and gem, forming one-of-a-kind compositions that emphasize form and balance. All stones, gems, materials, and artifacts are ethically sourced and hand-selected by the artist for their unique beauty and histories.

Saget was awarded the 2022 Tg: Transitions in Kiln-Glass Emerging Artist Honor and the 2016 Steinhardt Scholarship. She received her BA from Barnard College and MFA from New York University.

She maintains her studio in Brooklyn, NY, where her practice continues to evolve across sculpture, installation, bespoke commissions, and wearable sculptural works
